Why train to be a Medical Assistant at Las Vegas College?

LVC’s program provides hands-on training so that students may practice in real life situations, rather than learning just from textbooks. Students at Las Vegas College learn to perform basic laboratory procedures, as well as how to assist physicians in medical office examinations. Students at LVC learn how to perform critical duties such as:

  • Assisting the Physician During Examinations
  • Collect Laboratory Specimens
  • Taking Patient Vital Signs
  • Calling Prescriptions in to Pharmacies
